I spent the last four years building small companies in the Carolinas, in property management and real estate.

Running them meant negotiating the agreements that shaped them: leases, management contracts, operating agreements, and eventually the sale of the business itself. I went to law school because that work taught me how much of a deal’s outcome is decided in its documents, long before anyone disagrees. Today, my passion is working at the intersection of law, negotiation, and business.

Companies

Moongaze Stays LLC

2023–2026

Founder. Grand Strand, South Carolina

A licensed short- and mid-term rental management company serving investor owners. I built it to two full-time employees and held the South Carolina Property Manager-in-Charge license. In 2026 I negotiated the sale of the management portfolio to a regional operator. Each management agreement had to be assigned with its owner’s consent, so I negotiated the purchase terms, obtained the consents, and ran the post-closing transition myself.

Woodbine Properties LLC

Family portfolio. North and South Carolina

I oversee a small family portfolio and farmland in Raleigh, Pawleys Island, and Western North Carolina.

Transactional work in law school

All performed as a law clerk under the supervision and review of licensed attorneys.

Seed financing, concierge medicine platform

Drafted seed-financing documents for a concierge-medicine management services organization.

Multi-member operating agreement

Supported the negotiation of an operating agreement for a healthcare LLC, preparing redlines on governance, economics, and exit mechanics.

Member restructuring

Assisted a supervising attorney on a healthcare holding company’s member restructuring, including a dispute release, and reviewed and drafted operating agreements and letters of intent for MSO investments.
